Our Story

From a simple idea to a growing platform

CraftnCulture was founded in 2024 by Yusufbek and Julia, a husband-and-wife team on a mission to connect the world with authentic Uzbek craft. After four years in Poland, they returned home determined to bridge Eastern craftsmanship and Western markets.

We started with a simple observation: Uzbekistan is home to some of the finest ceramicists, weavers, miniature painters, and metalworkers on earth — and almost none of them had a way to reach the customers who would love their work.

So we built one. Today we partner with 30+ master artisans across Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and the Fergana Valley — giving each of them a storefront, an audience, and a steady stream of travelers eager to learn directly from their hands.

Now operating as a fully licensed tour operator, we're building the platform that turns living heritage into a living income.

Our Impact on Makers

How We Help Artisans Grow

We don't just sell experiences — we build businesses. Every partnership is designed to give an artisan more customers, more visibility, and the modern skills to keep growing on their own.

01

More Customers, Every Month

We put each artisan in front of thousands of travelers and online buyers — a steady demand pipeline most makers could never reach on their own.

02

Digital Literacy

We coach our artisans to photograph their work, manage online bookings, and sell through the marketplace — practical digital skills that outlast any single sale.

03

Marketing That Works for Makers

Professional photography, storytelling, and international promotion for every artisan we partner with — the kind of marketing most workshops could never afford on their own.

04

A Global Storefront

Each artisan gets a professional online presence and international visibility, reaching buyers across Europe, the US, and beyond who value the real thing.

05

Sustainable Businesses

We help turn one-off craft into a repeatable business: recurring workshops, product lines, and returning customers that keep the workshop running year-round.

06

Keeping the Craft Alive

By making craft profitable, we give young Uzbeks a real reason to learn it — turning endangered traditions into careers worth pursuing.

Our job isn't to preserve craft behind glass. It's to make it a business that pays — so the next generation still wants to learn it.

The People Behind It

Meet Our Founders

CraftnCulture is run by a husband-and-wife team — one Uzbek, one Polish. Yusufbek grew up around these crafts; Julia came from Poland and fell for them. Between them they know both sides of the story: the workshop, and the traveler who wants to step inside it.

Yusufbek Mukhiddinov

Co-Founder & CEO

Originally from Uzbekistan, Yusufbek lived in Poland for 4 years before returning home with a vision to connect travelers with authentic artisan experiences. He leads business development and has built partnerships with 30+ artisans across Uzbekistan's famous cities.
